- The Master of Science in Health Informatics prepares students to successfully address the combined clinical, technical, and business needs of health-related professions.
- Duration of the course is for 18-24 months.
- Students graduate with the knowledge of how technology, people, health, and the healthcare system interrelate; the ability to use technology and information management to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes; and the skills to communicate effectively among healthcare practitioners, administrators, and information technology professionals.
- The program offers a flexibly designed curriculum for both part-time and full-time students
- The program can be completed with no concentration, with a concentration in Health Informatics Analytics or in Personal Health Informatics.
- Northeastern’s interdisciplinary Master of Science in Health Informatics program prepares you to take a leadership role in addressing the combined clinical, technical, and business needs of health-related organizations.
- Students will gain the knowledge and skills to successfully integrate systems, improve workflow, help people work together effectively, and make a real difference in the quality and effectiveness of healthcare delivery—today and in the future.
- It provides master’s students with up to 12 months of professional experience that helps them develop the knowledge, awareness, perspective, and confidence to develop rich careers. In addition to the esteemed faculty, many students enroll in the master’s programs largely because of the successful co-op program.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a bachelor's degree in a related field or its equivalent to get admission in this program.
- Students required a minimum GPA of 3.6.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
