- The Department of Classics at Holy Cross is the largest and most active undergraduate program in the United States. - Students can study ancient history, politics, literature, mythology, rhetoric, art and archaeology, religion, and ancient science in courses requiring no knowledge of ancient languages.

- With a GPA of 3.82 on a 4.0 scale, the College of the Holy Cross requires students to be near the top of their class, and well above average.
