Courses explore creative modes of expression and problem solving while gaining familiarity with contemporary issues in visual art. The curriculum supports a variety of mediums including digital art, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and video art at the introductory and advanced levels. Studio arts courses are enriched by an ongoing series of visiting artists? lectures, exhibitions, and screenings as well as regular visits to New York City galleries, museums, and artists? studios.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and previous education completed
- Submit mid year grades which is the first semester grades of the final year
- Submit a guidance counselor recommendation with detail academic and personal preparedness for post-secondary
- Submit two academic recommendations from core subject teacher who worked with you in 10th, 11th or 12th grade
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit creative accomplishments related to the field of art such as written work, videos, speeches etc
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in ibt; 213 in CBT; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 105
