RGUKT review

3.9Helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course ( i.e. civil engineering) because I was very much interested in the design part. And here you can learn according to your interests there are no restrictions. You can find very friendly faculty who make their time to interact with their students. This is what we as students need from the teachers' side to provide a good and friendly education. The faculty are very professional here. All of them are once a student in IITs throughout India and some are alumini's of RGUKT. To be a faculty here he/she must pursue her PhD course or else you can pursue it by teaching here. I think the lab faculty are also the same. the teaching system here is through projector display and by white board which will help to understand the topic very clearly. We have every monthly test exam and after three months we have a semester exam on these three monthly exams. Likewise, we have two semesters ie,6 months for one year of completion. Exams are neither hard nor easy but you can write if you listen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My dream was to be a civil engineer so I chose this branch and it's free of cost as I get a scholarship. 150:1 is faculty to faculty-to-student ratio. On-board teaching and projector-based. Term exams are not so difficult.

3.2Helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am interested in the field of Electronics and Communication I have chosen this course. I think the faculty-to-student ratio is low as the number of faculty are less when compared to the students. Qualification of the faculty is M. Tech, B. Tech who also pursue Ph.D. and they should qualify NET, SET. Before the pandemic, the duration for every term exam was 6 months after COVID-19 it has been reduced to 4 months.

I am interested in cse. I want to learn something new in technology. The faculty is Good at teaching and some are not. The student's strength is 360 and we have 5 classes each class has 64 students. Faculty qualification is net qualified and doing research. Exams are good, only minimum subjects are hard to pass for an average student.

I had chosen the civil engineering course based on my own interests. There are 210 students in my year divided into three classes. We have a good faculty. We will have three term exams which are tough but can be solved easily if we concentrate well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to be an aeronautical engineer but since our campus doesn't have one, I took Electronics and Communication Engineering. The faculty and student ratio is around 1:120. The faculty were mostly assistant professors who graduated from prestigious universities and institutions.
