IIIT Imphal Courses Admissions 2024: Dates, Fees, Cutoff, Selection, Eligibility

The B.Tech courses at IIIT Imphal, Manipur are offered at undergraduate level. There are specializations regarding such B.Tech courses whose details are presented in the table below. 

Eligibility Criteria 

• Scores obtained in JEE Advanced would be taken into consideration
• Top scores in JEE main would take the JEE Advanced
• The candidates should have passed or appeared in the 10+2 examination during the course of application.
• The candidates should belong to General, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD categories as far as admissions is concerned

Selection Criteria 

• Based on scores obtained in JEE Advanced along with the marks in 10+2, JoSAA counselling would be undertaken as far as allocation of seats is concerned.
• Two rounds of CSAB would also be taken into account with regard to participation of students in terms of allocation of seats
• The final merit list for admission would be prepared based on the category of students as mentioned in the eligibility criteria along with the scores obtained in JEE Advanced.

How to Apply?

• The process of application is totally online. 
• The google form linked to the website needs to be filled with regard to application for B.Tech
• The documents required have to be uploaded with the google application form
• The fees are to be paid by the candidates depending on their category
• The candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC-NCL categories would pay to the institute INR 56,395 
• The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories would pay to the institute INR 96,395 
• In the first semester, the institute fees to be paid by candidates irrespective of their categories would be INR 1,29, 395

• The forms for JEE are available online on the websites concerned which would lead to the downloading and printing of admit cards on filling up in the desired manner

IIIT Manipur B.Tech Cutoff 2023 (Expected)

IIIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff is the minimum rank to get admitted to the B.Tech program. The cutoff will be released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The cutoff depends on various factors such as rank secured in the JEE Main examination, availability of seats, choice filling, reservation criteria, etc. IIIT Manipur BTech expected cutoff 2023 for general category candidates based on JoSAA 2022 round 1 opening and round 6 closing ranks is tabulated below:

The Ph.D. courses are offered by IIIT Imphal, Manipur at the postgraduate level for the ones who have completed their M.Tech and related degree courses. There are various specializations along with sub-specializations regarding the Ph.D. courses at IIIT Imphal, Manipur. The details of such specializations and sub-specializations are outlined in the table below:

Eligibility Criteria 

• Scores obtained in GATE/NET would be taken into consideration, in addition to entrance test and interview.
• The candidates should have obtained a Master’s in Engineering/Technology degree with CPI (Cumulative Performance Index) of 6.5 or 60% in both Bachelor’s and Master’s, with regard to CSE and ECE specializations
• If the candidate does not hold a Master's degree, at least CPI of 7.5 or 70% in Bachelor’s should be obtained, with regard to CSE and ECE specializations
• For Mathematics specialization, the candidate should have obtained a Master's in Mathematics/Statistics with CPI of 6.5 or 60% in both Bachelor’s and Master’s
• For Linguistics specialization, the candidate should have obtained a Master's in Linguistics/English with CPI of 6.5 or 60% in both Bachelor’s and Master’s
• The categories of candidates would be Project Staff or Self Finance.
• Project Staff category students would be eligible for assistantships/fellowships subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria as far as the norms of the respective agency designated for funding are concerned. 

Selection Criteria 

• Based on scores obtained in GATE/NET, in addition to the entrance test and interview, admission would be granted on the basis of Project Staff or Self Finance category. 
• The marks obtained in the relevant Bachelor’s and Master’s degree should be as per the eligibility criteria. 
• The reservations would be as per the rules and regulations formulated at the institutional level.
• The final merit list for admission would be prepared based on the category of students as mentioned in the eligibility criteria along with the scores obtained in GATE/NET, taking account of the specializations along with the aspect pertaining to reservations. 

How to Apply?

• If applying online, the application form has to be filled up and submitted by being sent electronically
• If applying offline, the application form has to be downloaded, pretend for being filled and sent through speed post
• The application fee of INR 1000 needs to be paid

• Certificate and marksheet of 10th/SSC, 12th/Intermediate, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree - Self-attested copies
• Provisional certificate/Degree certificate and Mark memos of the qualifying examinations- Self-attested copies

• IMPS/NEFT/RTGS transaction reference- Scanned copy
• Reservation category certificate in the format as required and signed by the respective authority- Depending on applicability
