Dislike

Actually, few students are getting jobs in their respective fields because fewer companies come to BIT Durg.
Our college provides placements, but only in non-technical companies, and not for engineers. However, the condition for engineers is that they are willing to do any job in any field. As a result, many students end up joining and wasting their lives.
Sorry, but I dont have any knowledge about any loan/scholarship facility offered by Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg.
They are not up to par as the frequent power failures and water problems are very irritating.
The students and alumni play a crucial role in placement, but it also restricts students freedom, hampering their potentials to some extent.

B.E/ B.Tech admission will be granted on the basis of the CGPET exam or JEE-Main score. The application form is available online for admission to various undergraduate engineering courses offered by the different institutes in the state of Chhattisgarh. It is state level exam it is conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CEPB). Site: vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. Exam Fees for general -200 INR for OBC - 150 INR for ST/SC/PWD - 100 INR. Students must complete 10+2 in Math, Physics, and Chemistry. 55% marks in each subject in 10+2. Relaxation for SC/ST/PWD is 45% in each subject 10+2. Application date star from April.

Basically, the admission process is done by the performance of two entrance exams i.e CGPET & JEE mains, The cut-off criteria is 75% or above (JEE) & Rank 500 below (CGPET), after the counselling at DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) led by Document Verification is done. Admission is completed after depositing the fees (40-41 K) for First Sem & all the documents mentioned in the application form.

If you want to take admission to this college there are two-way to process it by giving an exam: CGPET and JEE MAINS. If you talk about the cutoff then for CGPET under 300 to 500 and JEE MAINS more than 80 percentile then you can take admission here. You can find the application form on CGPET official website for the entrance exam. And to take admission to this college you have to enroll in counseling which is available on the cgdet website. I think no changes are required in the admission process because it is a simple process.

For admission, I have given Pre. MCA Entrance examination which is conducted by Chhattisgarh vyapam, All the exam details are available on its official website. After the results get announced I fill a form from where I got allotted the seat and further admission criteria had been done. Reservation benefits are available.

I gave Cgpet entrance test and qualified with a good rank and hence took admission in a bit. Eligibility of the entrance test is that students should have completed higher secondary school. The application form can be found on cgvyapam and after successful completion and selection college allotment is done by cgdte Raipur. After getting the allotment number you can get admission to the college.

The admission process is smooth. To get into this college you have to score well on the CGPET exam and get a good rank. If you want to get a CSE branch you have to get a rank under 700. You can't directly take admission here. As soon as the result of CGPET announce you have to apply for college. Reservation benefits are available for categorical students.

12th pass and Cgpet percentile or Jee main percentile. Application forms can be found in the college Admission section and on the college website. There are reservations for Sc,St, and obc caste and their cutoff is less. If your Rank is under 400 in Cgpet you can get a CS branch and with reservation, it can be under 800. The admission process is time taking so it should be fast.
