VelTech University B.Tech Cyber Security: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

• Students can visit B.Tech Admissions Portal to apply for B.Tech.
• Students must fill up all the details correctly.
• There are two ways for making payment: Online and Offline
• For Online payment, students have to pay Rs.750 using net banking/credit card/debit card.
• For Offline payment, students must send a DD of Rs.750, drawn in favour of “Vel Tech Dr.RR & Dr.SR University”, payable at Chennai.
• The DD and the filled application form must be sent to the following address:

• Candidates can also pay by cash at designated branch of the post offices/ book shops or by handing over a DD for 750 /- in person at VELTECH University, Avadi, Chennai or in our Administrative Offices.

 

 

Enclosures

Following documents are required at the time of admission:

• Marks statement(s) of qualifying examination (XII Standard or recognized as equivalent and of all attempts)
• Marks statement(s) of X Standard of all attempts
• Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate
• Community Certificate (For all categories except General)
• Xerox copy of Adhar Card / Ration Card
• Nativity Certificate (For candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).
• Six copies of recent Passport size (3.5 x 4.5 cm) colour photos of the candidate with white background dressed in formal wear with name and date printed
• Undertaking for good conduct and behaviour in the prescribed form (will be issued at the time of admission).
• ANTI RAGGING Joint Undertaking by parent/guardian and the student
• Undertaking for Industrial Visits
• Two Sets of photocopies of all original documents.
• Four copies of Passport size (3.5 x 4.5 cm) Photographs of Parent / Guardian
• Any other declaration or undertaking that may be required at the time of counselling / admission

Note:

• Use a black ball point pen to write details of the candidate and to use HB pencil to shade the alphabet/circle.
•  Only those who have appeared for VTUEEE 2016 examinations and admitted to any of the B. Tech Programmes shall be eligible for consideration for Vel Tech Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarships.

• A pass in +2 (or its equivalent).
• Those appearing for 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in March/April/May 2024 can appear for VTUEEE 2024.
• For the purpose of consideration for award of the Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship, the State or Union Territory from which the candidate has studied and appeared for the qualifying examination (12th standard examination of the State or Central Board) will be taken as the state to which the candidate belongs, even though the nativity of the candidate may be another State or Union Territory.

In addition to the Government norms, candidates who seek admission to B.Tech Degree Programmes should have either completed or appearing for, any one of the following examinations as on March 2024:

• 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by any State Board, Central Board of higher Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi). The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi); National Institute of Open Schooling; Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board / University; High School Certificate Examination of the University of Cambridge or equivalent.
• Eligibility: minimum of 60% marks in MPC in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination for admission into B.Tech programmes 2024.
