Vel Tech Multi Tech Admissions

The admissions to the college are sought only on merit basis. For seeking admission for the undergraduate courses, the candidates must have cleared the intermediate examination (10+2) with 50% passing along with a perfect score in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA).

Whereas, for admissions for the post-graduate courses, the candidates must have scored 50% in the final examination of the last year i.e. must have cleared Graduation with Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or Graduation Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

How to Apply?

Application for the admission can be made either online or offline

Candidates must register themselves with the respective Entrance examination
They must download/ collect the application form and fill the same from the college website/ campus.
The forms would be scrutinized and those who have scored the highest will be called for an interview.
The ones who have cleared the interview will be short-listed and they need to submit their documents.
The college sets a date for the admission procedure and submission of documents and the short-listed candidates need to submit their documents on the set date itself to secure their seats.

Hostel: The college provides accommodation facilities for students who have come from different cities and faraway places. It has two separate hostels for both boys and girls located on either side of the college. The hostel rooms have all the facilities for the convenience of the students. The hostel mess is also very reliable and serves delicious meals.
Library: The college has a Central Library which is quite huge and has plenty of books and journals for the reference of the students. They have a collection of 80,386 books, 4,015 journals, 38 magazines, 24 Newspapers, and have access to more than 2,100 E-Journals. Apart from the central library, each department has a separate library with reference collection. They have even upgraded the Library to Digital Library where there is access to information regarding the collection of books within just a few clicks.
Sports Facilities: The college has a sports club where almost all kinds of sports are played. The students are allowed to enroll themselves in the club and they are also given opportunities to play for intercollege competitions as well as other high-level competitions.

I took the entrance exam for the eligibility criteria and I got selected based on my entrance exam. The college faculty approached us for admission. There is no reservation based on the cast . I want too see some minor improvements like explaining the core subject content deeply for more understanding of concepts and subjects. I would like to see more facilities in my college at least in the future. it's very easy to read in my college and the faculty are very friendly in nature to discuss the subjects and doubts

The eligiblity to join computer science is to have a cut of more than 190, then the admission process does not tougher than unviersities and no entrance exams and there is a lot of scholarships available for SC,ST students. They want to improve their way of paying fees in online at admission process.

Well, firstly they conducted an entrance exam of 120 questions of multiple-choice questions. And they give us options in subjects either maths or biology. The minimum mark needed for eligibility is 50. And the students of the top 20 ranks got scholarships up to 90%. In that, I got only 25 ranks, so I didn't get that scholarship.
