IIT Kharagpur B.Sc + B.Ed : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The candidates must have passed 10+2 with PCB/PCM from a recognized board

• Under ITEP, IIT Kharagpur offers B.Sc-B.Ed (Secondary) with Majors in four different disciplines namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics.
• A student will be allotted any one of the above disciplinary Majors based on his/her rank/score secured under the National Common Entrance Test (NCET).
• In addition to Disciplinary Major, the students are required to choose one Minor of their choice each from the abovementioned list except the one which is already allotted as a Major.
• The Minor ought to be from a disciplinary area other than the one related to the chosen Major.
• The students who have passed class XII in Science Stream having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the combination of subjects are eligible to apply for any of the above disciplinary Majors.
• Admission to the programme will be through the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) to be conducted by the National Testing Agency.
• Candidates who have secured marks greater than or equal to the cut-off marks of their respective category are eligible to apply for B.Sc-B.Ed 2023 admission at IIT Kharagpur.
