IIT Kharagpur is ranked 6th in the NIRF ranking while IIT Patna is Ranked 41th.
IIT Kharagpur has a Median Salary of 16 LPA while IIT Patna is at 12 LPA.
IIT Kharagpur is one of the oldest institutes in India established in 1951.
Coal India also comes for recruitment at IIT Kharagpur and international companies like Rio Tinto come for recruitment process.
