Sathyabama Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai ranks among the top 50 universities in India every year by the NIRF ranking report. The institute is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2022 and till now 92.14% students have been placed. A a total of 363 students participated in the placement drive and 2004 students were placed.

The institute is conducting its 2021 placement drive. Till now, students have already received 353 dream offers & 27 super dream offers.

During the placement drive at Sathyabama Institute of Science & Technology campus, students were offered the highest CTC of INR 27 LPA. The average CTC stood at INR 4.75 LPA. A total of 1335 students were placed.

Major recruiters included Amazon, Hitachi, Yamaha, Adobe, Oracle, Federal Bank, HSBC Technologies etc.

Mainly IT companies visit the Sathyabama University campus for recruitments. On the other hand, very few core companies visit the campus for branches like Mechanical, Civil, Aero, Auto and Pro. Even the ones that do visit, mostly end up not recruiting any students.

The CS and IT department receives top companies like Oracle and HP. But the eligibility criteria of such companies is very high. Mass recruiters like Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro also visit the campus, and are quite easy to crack. Unfortunately, the university does not see any dream companies or high paying companies during placements.
