• Upon filling-in all the relevant details, candidate will be allotted an online application number for future correspondence. 
• Candidate should also submit a registration fee of Rs. 400/- (Rs.200/- in case of SC/ST candidates) for M.A/M.Sc./M.Com programme and Rs.1000/- (Rs. 500/- in case of MBA/MCA programme) through demand draft (DD). DD should be drawn in favour of The Registrar, Annamalai University and payable at Chennai

Enclosures:

1. Mark Lists/Grade Certificates of the qualifying examinations with official translation into English wherever needed.
2. Proof of Date of Birth.
3. Transfer and Conduct/Migration Certificate in HSC (or) Equivalent Examination.
4. Passport size photograph should be affixed on the application at the appropriate space.
5. Community certificate for Backward Class/Most Backward Class/ Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Candidates.
6. Medical Certificate.
7. Certificate of extracurricular activities.

M.A. History or Master of Arts in History is a postgraduate History course. History includes a comprehensive and thorough study of specialisation in the history of certain time periods of cultures. The course also covers the study of major historical events that took place both in India as well as across the world. Students also are provided with Research Skills and Methods, such as research, writing and presentation skills and paleography, and two additional tailored research skills courses to meet their specific research training needs.
