Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET) is India’s first Marine University for maritime-related education, training and research. AMET is established as a private maritime institute. Director, Research at AMET invites applications for Full-Time and Part-Time Doctor of Philosophy (PH.D.) Programmes, for around three years and four years duration respectively. Full Time allows pursuing doctoral work in Full-Time at Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET). While Part Time will involve being employed and working at AMET.

Eligibility:

You should possess a Master's Degree or M.Phil. or M.S. (By Research) of this University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study notified by the University from time to time.

You should have secured a minimum of 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for SC/ST category or CGPA of 5.5 on a ten point scale for general category and 5.0 for SC/ST category in the qualifying examination.

Selection Process

You will be selected on the basis of written test and Interview. Your admission will be subject to not only your academic record, but also on the availability of a research supervisor and facilities in your choice of area of research.
