AMET University Admission 2023 Open for UG and PG Programs Apply till May 22

New Delhi: Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET), Chennai is inviting applications for admission to its various undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the academic session 2023-24. Interested candidates can apply for admission by May 22, 2023.

As per AMET University, the admissions to UG and PG courses will be based on academic merit, entrance test execution, and personal interview. Candidates have to meet the required eligibility criteria to be eligible for the admission process.

To apply for AMET University Admission 2023, eligible candidates have to submit their online application form along with a copy of the required documents and payment of application fee. The admission form is available on the official website at ametuniv.ac.in.

AMET University Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria 

To apply for UG and PG courses under AMET University Admission 2023 process, interested candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• B.E/B.Tech: Pass in 10+2 level exam with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for OC and 45% for other aggregates in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. 
• B.Sc: Pass in class 10+2 with at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths and 50% marks in English.
• BBA: Pass in class 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• M.E./M.Tech: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with valid marks. 
• MBA: Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university with at least 50% of marks.
• MSc: Bachelor's degree in Science with 55% of aggregate scores with Biology / Life Science as Main or Ancillary Subjects.

AMET University UG and PG Admission 2023: Selection Criteria 

After the application process, the selection of applicants for admission seats will be done on the basis of the below-mentioned selection criteria: 

• Selection of applicants for UG level courses is done on the basis of entrance examination followed by a personal interview round.
• Selection to BE Naval Architecture is done through an entrance examination or JEE Mains/JEE Advanced followed by a personal interview round.
• Selection to BSc (Hons) in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence programs is done through AMET Common Entrance Test.
• Selection for ME courses is through Entrance Examination/ Personal Interview.
• Candidates must have a valid CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, KMAT, JMET or TANCET score to apply for an MBA course.
• Admission to the MBA program is done on the basis of marks secured in the entrance exam followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
• Selection to Marine Biotechnology is done through a personal interview process.

AMET University UG and PG Admission 2023: How to Apply?

AMET University accepts UG and PG admission applications in online and offline modes. Interested candidates can follow the step by step guide mentioned below to apply for admission:

Step 1: Visit the official website of AMET University at ametuniv.ac.in.

Step 2: Go to the “Application Forms” page available under the “Admission” head. 

Step 3: Register yourself by submitting your basic details as required and click on submit to continue. . 

Step 4: Submit the OTP you received on your registered mobile number and you will be redirected to the application forms.

Step 5: Click on “Apply Now” and fill out the application form as required. 

Step 7: Submit the admission form and take the printout of the same for future reference.

For an offline application, students can collect the form in person from the University Office by paying INR 1000/- or download from the official website, and submit it by sending it to the admission office of AMET University at Kanathur or the City office at Anna Nagar.
