RGPV M.Tech: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

RGPV MTech admission 2023 is ongoing. Admissions will be granted on the basis of GATE scores followed by counselling. GATE 2023 exam will be held on February 4, 5, 11, and February 12, 2023. GATE 2023 is expected to be announced on March 16, 2023. Check RGPV Admission 2023

RGPV offers an M.Tech course at PG domain in a handful of specialisations. The M.Tech is offered for the duration of 2 years which includes 4 semesters. Each year consists of 2 semesters. The M.Tech courses are offered under 7 specialisations which are Computer Science Engineering, Information & Technology, Cyber Forensic, Data Science, Energy Technology and Nanotechnology. RGPV offers M.Tech courses in full time and on-campus mode. The prescribed courses are offered at regular mode by RGPV. To be eligible for an M.Tech course at RGPV students must secure 45% marks in aggregate at B.E or B.Tech from a recognized university. The selection process will be done on the basis of GATE score as the institute accepts GATE entrance exam score. Students must secure a minimum percentage which should exceed the cutoff marks demanded by the university.

RGPV M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to apply for the M.Tech course in RGPV must fulfill the following criteria.

• Candidates must have passed his/ her B. Tech with not less than 45% marks (For Gen) and 40% (for reserved category) from a recognized university.
• He/ She must have a valid score GATE

RGPV M.Tech Admission Guidelines

The candidates applying for RGPV must qualify for the entrance examination concerned with the M. Tech course. The students must attend the counseling process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Application Procedure 

• Candidates can either purchase the application form from the admission office or can download it from the official website
• Fill in the application form carefully, attach the required documents with the form, and send it to the college address.
• Candidates must also fill the form for DTE counseling from the DTE official website.
• Upload the Photograph and Signature and the GATE scorecard in the counseling application form.
• Submit the same and take a printout of the same for future reference

GATE 2023 Exam Pattern

GATE 2023 is a 3-hour online test where candidates will have to attempt 65 questions carrying 100 marks. GATE 2023 Syllabus consists of three sections, General Aptitude, Mathematical Engineering and Core-subject Specific Section, for most of the papers.

The college offers scholarships to deserving candidates. The scholarship is given on the basis of means and Merit. Following are the criteria to be eligible for the scholarships

• Students of the reserved category with 75% and above marks in their 10+2 level examination
• If the students belong from the economically low backward
• If the parents serve/ had severed in the military
• If the students are from sports quota and Physically challenged
