Oriental University B.Tech. and B.Pharm. Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech.- The basic eligibility for the students seeking admission to the B.Tech course includes passing 10+2 exam with Physics, Maths, Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Vocational Sciences through a recognized board or university with a minimum of 45% marks. for the B.tech admissions, the students also need to appear for the JEE (national eligibility exam) to qualify the minimum criteria along with 10+2. 

B.Pharm.- 12th (PCM / Biotechnology/Biology/Vocational Science) with 45% (Gen) & 40% for SC/ST/OBC.

Selection Criteria

Candidates are selected based on different exams conducted all over India. JEE mains and NEET are 2 major exams that are conducted across India after the 10+2.

At the post-graduation level, the oriental university offers Masters of Technology (M.Tech) under the following specializations-

Oriental University M.Tech and M.Pharm. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to M.Tech. the candidates must possess a minimum of 50% marks in B.Tech. in a relevant field.

To be eligible for admission to M.Pharm., the candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in B.Pharm.

Oriental University M.Tech and M.Pharm. Selection Criteria

Both of the programs come with various fields of specialization. The students need to visit the respective site for the GATE and GPAT examinations.

For the candidates interested in pursuing a postgraduate degree are selected based on their graduation marks and the result followed by an interview( for specific courses).

The university offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) for 2 years. Students who have qualified with graduation and in any stream are eligible for the admission to MBA program. The seats at the university are limited to 60.

Oriental University MBA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for MBA must have passed graduation with minimum 50% marks in respective subjects. For media management, graduation in any discipline will be entertained with 50% marks (gen) and 45%(SC/ST/OBC).

Oriental University MBA Selection Criteria

Admission will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. Candidates possessing a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT need not appear for the entrance exam.
