The Minority Welfare Scholarship is a merit based financial aid provided by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India.

Ques. Is there any scholarship for IIM Indore?
Ans. Yes, IIM Indore has various scholarships available one such being the Need-Based Scholarships. Other scholarships are provided by the Central Government of India and industries like Aditya Birla Group, SBI and so on.
Ques. What are the scholarships applicable at IIM Indore?
Ans. Need-Based Scholarships are offered to meritorious students by IIM Indore. Moreover, Central Government Scholarships like Central Sector Scholarships for SC/ST students and Minority Welfare Scholarship (Merit-cum-Means) are available. Also, Aditya Birla Scholarships, OPJEMS Scholarships, SBI Scholarships are other forms of financial assistance.

Ans. Yes, scholarships like Central Sector Scholarships for SC/ST students and Minority Welfare Scholarship (Merit-cum-Means) are provided by the Government of India.
Ques. How much amount is given to a student availing Scholarships under SC/ST category?
Ans. An amount of INR 4,50,000 is provided to students selected under Central Sector Scholarships for SC/ST.
Ques. What is the reimbursement amount for Need based scholarships?
Ans. Based on the family income slab, students with family income less than INR 1,50,000 have access to 75% of tuition fee reimbursement. Similarly those with family income between 1,50,000 and 2,00,00 have access to 50% of tuition fee reimbursement.
Ques. Who provides need based scholarships to students at IIM Indore?
Ans. The PGP Executive Committee and NBFA Committee provides the Need based scholarships to meritorious students based upon their academic performance.
There are private and public sector scholarships available for students, for IPM first 3 years incur a fee of 5 lakhs per year and 10 lakh per year for PGP 2 years. In total it incurs 40 lakh fee, it is one of a kind programme by the BLACKI IIMs. In India it is the best for UG+ PG. Foreign UG colleges are not worth it. NBFA is available for people with less than 12 lakhs of annual income, approximately 20% of the batch of students gets it and there are other scholarships, total students availing scholarships is close to 30%. Average amount for NBFA is the interest on the loan of students l, while for other scholarships, it varies from 40k per year to entire tuition fee of students. There is only a fee of 5 lakhs, mess fee of 50k per year can be considered, travel and other expenses are born by the institute. The tickets during vacations etc has to be given by students themselves.
