Amity University Gwalior Admission 2024: Dates, Courses, Placements, Application Process

Amity Gwalior offers B.Tech course in total 9 specializations. Candidates applying for this course must have scored at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Math and English combined in 10+2.

The eligible candidates can apply for Amity JEE exam and selection would be done on the basis of the score obtained by the candidate followed by a test on the day of the interview. Direct admission is also done on the basis of a valid score in JEE Main.

Key Points:

• The number of seats available for B.Tech Biotechnology, Civil Engg., Electronics and Communication Engg. and IT is 120.
• Candidates securing more than the score of 30 in JEE Main will be admitted directly and would be exempted from university entrance test and Interview.
• Students whose 10+2 exam results have not been declared can also apply and get admission provisionally until the result is declared.
• Students with a compartment in their 10+2 examination will not be considered for admission.

Amity University Gwalior offers admission into various UG courses. The minimum eligibility to apply in these courses is 10+2 from a recognized board. The eligibility percentage varies from course to course.

Admission in B.Arch is based on the score of NATA or JEE Main Paper 2. Admission in the rest of the courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination followed by an interview and a test/creative test conducted by the interview.

Key Points:

• In aggregate percentage, Physical Education/Fine Arts/Performing Arts/Vocational/non-written subjects will only be considered for respective disciplines.
• Non-Sponsored is a high merit category. Sponsored category applies to relatively lower merit category with high fees. Request for change in category will be entertained only prior to appearing for Test/Interview. 
• Students with more than 80% aggregate in class 10+2 are exempted from the selection process and are given direct admission.

Amity Gwalior offers five specializations in M.Tech. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for M.Tech is a B.Tech degree in the relevant specialization. Selection would be made on the basis of merit, interview and an entrance test on the day of an interview conducted by the university.

Amity Gwalior offers 4 different specializations in the MBA program. Candidates with more than 50% aggregate marks in graduation are eligible to apply. The final selection is done on the basis of CAT/ MAT/XAT/NMAT/ GMAT score and an interview. Selection can also be selected on the basis of the Amity test taken by the university on the day of the interview.

Note: Candidates who have scored MAT- 550 or CAT/XAT - 80 percentile or NMAT 65 percentile or GMAT - 500 are exempted from the Amity written test.

Amity University Gwalior offers admission in Masters Course on the basis of merit, interview and Amity test conducted by the university on the same day as the interview. Candidates are required to have completed their graduation in the relevant stream from a recognized university.

Note: Final Year appearing students of Graduation / Post Graduation should meet minimum eligibility until the last qualifying Semester / Year and should not have any back paper / essential repeat.

Amity University Gwalior offers Ph.D. in 10 specializations at the doctoral level. The basic eligibility criterion is a Master’s degree in the relevant field with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade. Candidates with 50% marks in M.Phil degree are also eligible to apply.

Selection is done on the basis of the candidates’ performance in PET (Ph.D. Entrance Test) conducted by Amity University and an interview followed by the test. Candidates can choose their PET date according to their convenience from the available dates.

Key Points:

• Candidates who don’t have a Master’s degree but B.Tech/B.Arch degree with exceptionally good marks (minimum 55% or 6.0 CGPA) can apply for Ph.D. in the relevant stream.
• Candidates who possess an MBBS degree with minimum 55% or 5.5 CGPA can also apply for Ph.D. in the relevant stream.
• Candidates with Chartered Accountancy qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade are also eligible to apply for Ph.D. in Management.
• Candidates who have cleared an All India Examination or NET of UGC / CSIR / ICAR (ASRB) / GPAT / ICMR / GATE will be exempted from PET. They will be required to appear for the Personal Interview.
