Bachelor of Veterinary Science [BVSc] & A.H. From KVASU, Wayanad

Aspirants seeking admission to Full-time B.V.Sc. & A.H. Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement

Passed Higher Secondary examination conducted by the Government of Kerala or any board recognized by Indian Universities, with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and obtaining at least 50% marks aggregate for these courses.

Candidates for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree program should have

• Completed 17 years of age and a maximum age of 25 on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to this course.
• Passed Higher Secondary examination conducted by the Government of Kerala or any board recognized by Indian Universities, with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and obtaining at least 50% marks aggregate for these courses.

Note:- Relaxation of 10% marks will be allowed to candidates belonging to Scheduled
Castes/ Scheduled Tribes and 5% marks to candidates belonging to socially and educationally backward communities as defined in G.O.(p)No.201/66/Edn dt. 02/05/1966

Mode of selection and admission

Admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. is regulated by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations of Kerala (CEE) and the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) on the basis of merit as assessed in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the NTA.
Admission of candidates under the bilateral exchange program shall be regulated by VCI

Total duration: Five and half Years - The normal prescribed duration of the B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree programs shall be four and half years and a compulsory rotating internship of twelve calendar months after successful completion of the 4th professional year
