Is the B.Tech from Jain University Bangalore any good? What is its reputation in Bangalore?
Yogesh ManasStudied Bachelor of Technology Degrees & Computer Science, School of Engineering and Technology, Jain UniversityA friend of mine who studies at Jain University says the faculty is decent but if you are mainly looking for placements, there is no guarantee. There are quite a few IT jobs available but since Bangalore is the Silicon City of the country, you will probably not get placements in core areas.
From what information was shared with me, the hostel fees and tuition fees are also quite high. Plus, admission to the university is also given directly by filling up the application form or you can even give the COMEDK, KCET exam or contact the college directly.
Infrastructure-wise, the college is definitely good with five-star facilities in your hostel rooms and Bangalore city to explore. But, you have to pay for almost everything.
You will see a diverse crowd in the college including a few Africans too. However, you will probably not be able to gain industry-relevant skills that might help boost your career. Overall, it is an okay university.

The Courses are well structured and the faculty are knowledgeable and they are easily reachable. the student ratio is 2:1.
The examination was held on time and passing the exam is not very difficult but you should have some knowledge about that particular subject.

The faculty members were excellent for the most part, although there were a few with extremely weak communication skills who had to be changed after they were reviewed by the class. There was a 30:1 student-faculty ratio and the teachers were very approachable.

I choose the B.Com course since I am interested in the banking sector and practical subjects. As I expected the faculties are also good at explaining the concept very clearly. The faculty teach us each and every concept.

I was always interested in space aircrafts and always was into flying that's something which fascinated me and hence I selected this course.the teachers'are very friendly and faculty is of great help and we have mentors for every 10 students which is a plus point.exams were kinda hard but if you go by depth these are quiet easy to crack up.

B.COM is a great course for those who have more interest in the field of commerce or business.
I personally chose this as I like being in the field itself.
Teachers here are very supportive and helpful in every aspect.
As far as I know, most faculties are well-educated and speak fluently and their methodology is very different.
Semester exams are conducted in every 6 months but internal exams are conducted frequently.

Forensic science is great to be in Jain with highly equipped labs and most experienced faculty members.
All faculties are PhD holders and teaching was mostly interactive and more practical-oriented.
Exams are done by the university itself and some papers are a little tough to get cleared but we had a great passing out percentage too and provided all exams were conducted on time and results were announced on time even at lockdown times.

The curriculum is a bit good but they need to improve in some areas. They have kept 3 languages in a year which they can change and can focus on a specific language every year. In every class, there is a good bunch of students around 60-70. The teachers are good but sometimes they took the course at too much pace which makes us a bit difficult to catch up. We have tests every week and the final exam after 2 months.
