At the UG level, the institute offers Bachelor’s Degree programs under various disciplines. 

OP Jindal Global University UG Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Key Notes-

• JSAT is conducted by Pearson VUE. It assesses the logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and verbal ability of candidates.
• Candidates with valid SAT (above 1100 marks)/ ACT scores are exempted from taking JSAT.
• For Integrated Law courses, candidates’ age should be no more than 22 years as on August 1, 2020.
• The application form can be filled out online by visiting the official website of JSJC and the application fee for JSAT is INR 1020.
• Candidates applying for BA in Liberal Arts and Humanities must write a 1,000-word Personal Statement explaining why they want to study at JSLH, passions, and ambitions.

JGU offers an MBA (General/Executive) program at the PG level for a duration of two years. A valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/NMAT/GRE/ATMA/CMAT is required for admission to the MBA course. 

OP Jindal Global University MBA Eligibility

A graduation degree with 50% marks in aggregate is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. The following cutoff scores are accepted by the university:

• CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA: ≥50%ile
• GRE: ≥290
• GMAT: ≥400
• NMAT: ≥160

OP Jindal Global University MBA Selection Criteria

The final selection of students is made on the combined basis of Academics, Entrance Exam Scores, and Personal Interviews. 

Students from SC/ST/OBC backgrounds and differently-abled learners are especially encouraged to apply for admissions and scholarships at JGBS.

JGU offers M.A. and LL.M programs in various disciplines at the PG level for a duration of two years. 

OP Jindal Global University PG Eligibility

LL.M: LL.M. is offered with the following specializations-

• Corporate and Financial Law and Policy
• International Trade and Investment Law
• Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Law
• Environmental Law
• Competition Law and Market Regulation
• LL.M Taxation (Non- Residential)

To be eligible for admission to the LL.M. program, candidates must possess a Three-year LL.B or five-year B.A-LL.B. with not less than 45% aggregate marks.

M.A: Masters is offered with the following specializations-

• Public Policy
• Economics
• Diplomacy, Law & Business

To be eligible for admission to the M.A. programs, the candidates must possess a graduation degree in the related discipline with 50% marks. 

OP Jindal Global University PG Selection Criteria

LL.M.- Admission to the LL.M. program is based on the score in PG-CLAT or LSAT. Students with a valid score in the Delhi University Entrance Test.

For the LL.M program, 70% weightage will be given to the score in the entrance followed by evaluation of the Statement of Purpose and Telephonic Interview (30% weightage).

Note: LSAT is an MCQs-based examination that covers logical reasoning, analytical reasoning, and reading comprehension. Students can register online for the LSAT by paying INR 3800 as an application fee.

M.A.- Admission to the M.A. program is based on the performance in the university-based ACT/ SAT/ JSAT/ LSAT.

MA program in Public Policy/ Diplomacy, Law & Business is also available for Practitioners under Non-Residential mode.

O.P. Jindal Global University offers Doctoral Degree courses in Law, Management, International Affairs and Government & Public Policy in both full-time and part-time modes. For a Ph.D. in Management, 60% marks in the concerned discipline at graduation level are required.

For other disciplines, a Master’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks is mandatory. Applicants with more than 3-year industry/ teaching/ practicing/ managerial/ professional experience are given preference.

Shortlisted applicants are required to take the Entrance Test followed by an Interview. In addition, JGU may prescribe an additional selection test or a written examination to grant admission.

Key Points

• For Part-time Ph.D. courses preference will be given to scholars if they have relevant work experience in the discipline they are seeking admission
• Candidates who have qualified UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ JRF/ SLET (Haryana State) or any other equivalent examination are exempted from taking the Entrance Test.
• Minimum and Maximum period of Ph.D. will not be less than 3-year and 7-year respectively from the date of provisional registration of the candidate.
• However, in case the performance of the research scholar has been exceptionally good, the period can be reduced by six months.

How to Apply for JGU Ph.D?

Candidates applying for Ph.D. courses in any discipline need to follow the given steps:

• Register on the official website of O.P Jindal University.
• After registration, fill the application form.
• Make a payment of INR. 1000/- through debit /credit card or a Demand Draft in favor of O.P. Jindal Global University, payable at Sonepat.

Documents required to be attached along with offline application form:

• Scanned copy of the academic transcripts.
• A short note on the professional background and experience of the applicant (if any).
• A “Statement of Purpose” (1500 words) explaining why do you want to pursue Ph.D. in JGU.

Note: Students also need to submit names of two academic/ non-academic references.

The University follows a common application process for all UG/PG and Doctoral courses. Candidates have to register for the entrance exam of respective courses on their official website before applying to the university. Candidates applying for any of the courses offered by JGU need to follow the below-listed steps:                           

1. Visit the official website of the university and register.
2. After registration, fill out the online application form by providing your Username and Password.
3. Upload a recent colored passport-size photograph.
4. Make a payment of INR. 3000/- (INR 1000 for LL.B, LL.M, MBA, MA) via Debit /credit card or a Demand Draft in favor of O.P. Jindal Global University, payable at Sonepat.
5. After submitting the online application, the applicants should take a printout of the application form.
6. Applicants submitting fees through Demand Draft have to send it along with the completed application form to JGU Admissions Office.
