Admissions are currently open for all their Diploma, UG and PG courses. There are a total of 2000 plus seats. The application mode is both online and offline. Admissions to professional courses are based on the entrance exam conducted by the University or by Central/State government agencies. For all other courses, admissions are based on merit in the qualifying examination.
Mangalayatan University alumni have been placed in companies like Abbot Labs, Accenture, Amar Ujala, Genpact, Dainik Jagran, Google, Claris, Infosys, Axis Bank, Vivanta, Radisson, ITC, HCL, ICICI Lombard, ING Vysya Bank, Capgemini. More than 50 companies have given their students opportunities. The average package for students is INR 6.75 LPA and the highest package so far has been INR 10 LPA.

MS Scholarship: Scholarship based on merit in qualifying exams-
EC Scholarship: 50% fee concession to University employees and their wards is allowed to self/spouse/son/daughter of University Employees.
WE Scholarship: 20% fee concession to all girl students enrolling at the University.
PH Scholarship: 20% fee concession to differently-abled children with 40% or higher impairment. This fee concession continues throughout the course.
FD Scholarship: 25% concession in course fees is allowed to Son/Daughter or Grandson/Granddaughter of Freedom Fighters, Son/Daughter of Armed Forces/ Para-Military Forces/Police Force Personnel. This fee concession continues throughout the course.
FC Scholarship: Fee concession to brother/sister of an existing student of Mangalayatan University.
