I chose mechanical engineering because of the placement statistics of nit kkr. About 80-85% of students are placed in mechanical engineering every year. All faculty members have taken Ph.D. degrees from various IITS. The teaching method is also easy to understand. Here two mid-term examinations of 20-20 marks for each subject and end end-semester examination of 50 marks.
Btech has better job opportunities than any other course which is why I chose btech. The faculty is quite good but some of the teachers are rude you have to complete the assignment given by them and should behave properly with them. In our batch in our section, there were approximately 60 students. Most of the faculty is well experienced and are phd holders their teaching method is quite good term exams are in three parts mid sem 1 and 2 and end sem it is not so hard if you study timely.
I chose this course because my parents wanted me to do this course. I personally had some interest in technology. So I wanted to learn new things about the technology used around us. The faculty-student ratio is not as bad as it is 20:1. Most of the faculty has done PHD and some are doing M Tech from the same college. Generally, the term exams are conducted every month in the semester if the semester is 3 months and it is not difficult to pass these term exams. We can pass the exams just by studying one day before the exam.
1st year curriculum is the same for all irrespective of their branches. In 1st year everyone studies only basic subjects such as maths, physics, chem. and other social-related courses. Faculty are decent enough their teaching styles are unique, they are approachable, and obviously have a great knowledge inn their fields as they themselves are graduated from IITs or other top-notch colleges.
The course I'm in right now is the one I got admission in on the basis of my rank in jee mains but it's fair to say that I'm not happy with my branch I'm quite happy and satisfied. the professors here are quite good and the HODs here are awesome they are quite friendly and listen to all our issues.
I chose Production and Industrial Engineering under the department of mechanical engineering in NIT Kurukshetra because it was the best possible branch and college I could get at my rank. Apart from this I always had intrest in mechanical engineering. Placements also are quite promising. The students in every branch are divided into two sections of 84 students each and then are further divided into 4 subsections of 21 students each. Every section has 1 or 2 faculties for each subject and every subsection has its own tutorial teacher
As ECE provides a wide range of job opportunities, I have chosen this course. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:20 . The faculty are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields and some of them have patents. The exams are a little bit harder.
The course curriculum is good and the faculty members are also great. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:4. All faculty members are minimum Ph.D. scholars and above-term exams are monthly and are easy to pass. And end term is semester-wise once in 6 months.
I had a deep interest in communication engineering and my rank was enough to get into this college. my college has a a group of good faculties there are 10 faculties for every semester. Every faculty is a minimum a PhD degree holder from iits or nits
I chose this course because for my rank one and only best option. Faculty student ratio was nearly 1:10 every faculty was very well qualified every faculty member had above pg qualification. Good teaching method. For every semester there are two mid-term and one end-term exam easy to pass.
