I had an interest in electronic equipment, so I chose this course. The faculty-student ratio is 1:70. Almost all the professors have done PhD and are very experienced and the teaching method is on the projector and there is good interaction in the class. If you study regularly, then the exams are very easy.
I chose this course as I had interest in Hardware Processors. The faculties are very good and they help with each project and task we are working on and also for guidance normally there are 3 teachers for 1 subject for a class of 70. All faculty members are IIT alumni and very well experienced with teaching from PPT. There are 3 exams quiz midterms end terms And it was a bit difficult to study for the same but gradually I took guidance from faculties and got well.
I am interested in civil engineering so I chose this branch. As this is a National Institute, the faculty-student ratio is decent. Faculty are Ph.D.'s term exams are moderate. For lab teaching, we students are assisted by PhD scholars.
In the electrical engineering department about 40 faculty are there. Almost all the faculty are done with PhD. There are a total of 8 semesters (4 yrs). every 6 months semester exam is there. The difficulty varies from person to person
I chose EC for more diversity. I think it's the best course if you want to enjoy college life and get good placements ..faculties are great except for EE lmao cuz he makes us jot down a lot more. Exams are mid-range and End-Sems is a pretty good level
I am a physics enthusiast so I have decided to choose a field related to phy so I have chosen electrical engineering some faculties are very young so they are very much energetic in delivering the concepts and we enjoyed it really but some professors are aged so they come and pass time we go there only for attendance. faculty have done phd so they are very good at teaching there are two terms mid-semester and end-semester
The course curriculum is large and hectic especially for the electrical branch some faculty are good and some are chill but majorly are just fine exams are coming don't know much about them as I joined recently. study environment is good and supportive.
I chose this course because I have interest in electrical engineering from the beginning and I was taking this course according to my rank in nit surat. As I am fresher, so, I don't know the faculty-student ratio but it is good. The faculty are highly qualified, and most of them are Ph.D.s from IITs/NITs. Our college has midsem exam and endsem exams, the distance between midsem and endsem is 2.5 months. The exam level was moderate. and also interesting.
My main reason for pursuing this course is. I want to learn maths from a good lecturer which will help in future upsc preparation and another exam. Faculty are absolutely brilliant they are very dedicated and they are mastered in mathematics. They are well qualified. I think they all are phd holders in their respective subjects. But something I miss they have to improve their teaching methods. My exam is not held yet but they are on time and I think they are difficult.
Actually, the faculties are nice and the course curriculum is vast enough to give headaches to the students, in the first semester, we have 6 subjects half of the faculty teaching is reached to the students, and half is not reached. The faculties are helpful. The student-faculty ratio is good. The exams are on time.
