Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) was established by GERMI as a Private University through the State Act. It was formerly known as Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU). The university is located at Raisan village of Gandhinagar city. The University is recognised by UGC (University Grants Commission) and is a member of AIU (Association of Indian Universities).
PDEU has four schools, located on the same campus. The schools include the School of Petroleum Technology, School of Technology, School of Petroleum Management, and School of Liberal Studies. The university offers various courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and research level.
Admission in B.Tech and M.Tech is done through JEE Mains and GATE respectively. Candidates seeking admission in MBA will have to appear in CAT/XAT/NMAT. Interested candidates need to note that registration for NMAT and XAT has started and will end on November 10 and November 30 respectively .
Admission to M.Sc. is based on Written Test and PI conducted by the university itself.
For PhD courses, students must qualify in the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) which is also conducted by the university.

PDEU B.Tech Admission 2023
At undergraduate level, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) provides courses like Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and B.Tech (Lateral) to the aspiring candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The courses offered are for 4-years and 3-years respectively. The number of seats depend upon the nature of specializations as opted by the candidates.
The admission in B.tech is done on the basis of rank secured in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). PDEU Postgraduate Admission 2023
The university also focuses in the area of Arts and Business Administration so as to reach out to many students. Courses like Master of Business Administration (MBA), PGDPM-x, PGDGM-x, Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Science (M.Sc) are offered at postgraduate level. The intake capacity for MBA and MA are 60 seats and 20 seats respectively and the duration of all the courses is two years. The intake in M.Sc. course is 25 students in each specialization.
Candidates seeking admission in MBA need to appear in CAT / XAT / NMAT. The final selection is based on the Entrance Exam score, GD, WAT, PI, work experience and academic performance.
Admission in MA and M.Sc will be done on the basis of marks scored in a written test conducted by the university. However, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria.

PDEU Ph.D Admission 2023
At Research level, the university offers Ph.D course in various specializations. The number of seats depends upon the nature of specializations.
