MNNIT Allahabad offers good CSE. In terms of opportunities, MNNIT CSE is at par with top NITs (and even some IITs). As for course curriculum and faculty, these are almost equally good at all top engineering colleges. During 2023 placements, the highest package for CSE at MNNIT was 1.35 CPA, and the average package was 27.57 LPA. SE is comparatively easier than CSE or IT, but it offers similar placement opportunities to its students. SE students are eligible for companies seeking CSE/IT students.
Both the colleges are highly reputed, and you can choose either of them for your B.Tech studies.
There are many reasons why some students prefer CSE at NSIT to CSE at DTU. I have listed some strong reasons below:
If you consider these reasons valid, go for NSIT instead of DTU.
The choice depends on what matters the most to you.
If placements, faculty and research opportunities are your top most priority, choose IIIT Delhi CSE. In this respect, IIITD CSE beats DTU Mechanical by a large margin. But if you want the best of campus, college environment, cultural fests and brand name, DTU Mechanical is a much better choice.
I would personally recommend IIIT Delhi, as it offers top notch placements. But if you’re truly passionate about Mechanical, choose that branch. Do not take your interest for granted while choosing your branch/degree.
DTU has limited branches but a huge student pool thereby decreasing the average salary of CSE. Here are the placement statistics for the branch

The CSE branch at DTU is highly regarded for its curriculum and placements. Here is what you should consider
Ultimately, DTU should be your choice only if your goal is to get placed after enjoying good college life. But if you are a research enthusiast and want to pursue MS or Ph.D. in the future, then consider joining IIITD or NSUT instead.
IIITD, DTU and NSIT (NSUT) reserve 85% seats for the students who passed their 12th or equivalent from Delhi. All the NITs also offer reservation to students from their own states. Here are the 2023 JEE Mains closing ranks for CSE/COE at various colleges (for SC category)-

These are the closing ranks assuming you are not from the Home State. There are separate ranks for female-reserved seats as well. Apart from COE, NSUT also offers a B.Tech CSE in AI, Data Science and Big Data Analytics.
Thus, you will have to study hard and score well to secure a seat at these top colleges for your B.Tech CSE.
Here is a rough estimate of the score needed to secure a eat n DTU CSE.

The above cutoff varies from year to year so you shouldn't solely rely on them. NTA conducts the JEE Mains so it's hard to predict rank by marks, percentile, etc.
The number of recruiters varies every year and affects the placement percentage of all the branches of DTU. Approximately the placement percentage of DTU CSE varies from 88 % - 93%. Even colleges better than DTU find it difficult to maintain a 100% record. Students who have poor grades or backlogs usually get rejected while many top graders opt for higher studies generally in foreign universities.

The CSE branch of DTU specifically is great and offers a plethora of opportunities and exposure. Anyone with excellent coding skills and a great CV certainly gets placed here with a high package.
All three colleges namely, IIIT Delhi, NSIT, and DTU are excellent options for CSE. However, you might want to consider the following points before making the final decision
So choose wisely based on your priorities!
My friend was in a similar dilemma last year and chose DTU over IIT Patna. She considers new IITs overhyped and not at par with the IIT standards. Running after the IIT tag is not logical and you should look at the bigger picture. Anaise your career prospects and see if other options fit your prospects or not.
DTU is a great option for CSE considering the excellent exposure and opportunities you will get in Delhi, the capital. The salary packages, the companies, and the profiles offered at DTU are similar to the new IITs if not better.
To make things simpler, here are a few pros and cons of going for a new IIT instead of DTU
Pros:
Cons:
Ultimately it’s your choice whether you want a better campus life or the IIT tag.
