Dibrugarh University offers admission to the B.Tech degree programmes under 4 specializations. The programme is offered by DUIET. The students can have admission on the basis of the performance in JEE Mains. 10+2 qualified students can apply for admission to the course.

Dibrugarh University B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 qualified students can apply for admission. 
• Minimum 50% marks should be secured in the final examination.

Selection Criteria

Admission to the B.tech courses will be based either on the basis of JEE Mains or CEE Assam.

Dibrugarh University has various UG courses to be offered to the students. 10+2 qualified students can apply for admission. Whereas, the admission will be merit-based.

Dibrugarh University offers admission to Full time as well as Part time MBA. Students should have a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized institute.

Admission to MBA will be based on the marks secured in the MAT/CAT/CMAT or CMSDU test.

MBA (Full Time)

Students should hold a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized institute/ university to be eligible for admission.

MBA (Part Time)

Bachelor’s degree with two years of work experience with any organization.

Dibrugarh University MBA Selection Criteria

• Dibrugarh University takes admission to the MBA course on the basis of marks secured in MAT/CAT/CMAT or CMSDU test.
• Admission to the part time course will be based on the marks

The university offers admission to the M.Tech course under 2 specializations. The eligibility criteria for admission is to have a B.E/B.Tech degree in the relevant subject. GATE qualified students will be considered for admission.

Dibrugarh University M.Tech Eligibility

• B.E. / B. Tech. in relevant subject or M.Sc.
• A minimum of 55% marks should be secured in the qualifying examination.

Selection Criteria

Admission to the M.Tech programme will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and performance in GATE.

Dibrugarh University offers admission to various PG courses. Graduation degree holders will be eligible for admission to these courses. Most of the courses take admission on the basis of the marks secured in the qualifying examination. Admission to M.Pharm will be based on the scores in GPAT.

The University also offers research programs in various subjects. Admission to Ph.D. courses are done through Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT) followed by an Interview. Admission to D.Litt or D.Sc. is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. For Phd Candidates (other than from Medical and Engineering streams) must have obtained at least 55% marks in Master's Degree or equivalent grade point.

• Candidates with BE/B.Tech degree with a valid JRF/ NET/ GATE score can also apply for Ph.D. program.
• The University also offers admission in undergraduate and post-graduation level for NRIs and foreign category students.
• The minimum educational qualification for admission of Foreign/NRI students in various programs is the same as for Indian students.
• Relaxation of 5% in all courses is given to SC/ST and OBC candidates.

The University also offers various PG Diploma, Certificate, Advanced PG Diploma courses to the candidates.

Minimum eligibility for PG Diploma is a pass in Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from recognized university. For Certificate courses, the candidates must pass in 10+2 examinations from recognized boards.

Selection to PG Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication is done on the basis of a written test followed by Group Discussion. Admission to PGDCA, Diploma in Computer Application, Advanced PGD in Nano Science & Composite Materials, PGD in Tai Language, Certificate in Tai Language and PGCWS is done on the basis of merit. Selection to PGD in Tourism Management is done on the basis of written test (CMSDU Test) score followed by PI. Admission to the rest of the courses is done on the basis of a written test.
