Dibrugarh University, Assam offers a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) as a UG degree program. The full-time BCA program is for a duration of 3 years which is divided into 6 semesters.

Dibrugarh University BCA Admission Guidelines

Admission to the BCA programme is on the basis of merit.

To fill the Application Form follow the details given below:

• Visit the official Admission portal of Dibrugarh University.
• Register by clicking on the “Register Button” provided on the Portal. 
• Provide your Mobile No. and set a password while registering. Your provided mobile no. will be verified through an OTP.
• Login using the set Password.
• Click on the “Apply” button Corresponding to the link of the desired program. The application form will open
• Fill out the Application form carefully by providing all the necessary details.
• Click on “Submit and Review”. Preview all the details carefully, if something is wrong, candidates are advised to correct it at this stage.
• Click on “Pay Now and Submit the Application”, if you have carefully reviewed all the details.
• An application fee of INR 750/- needs to be paid online through a Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking.
• On successful payment of the Application fee, the Application form will be finally considered as Submitted.
• Click on the “Download” button and download the Submitted Application form. Also, take the printout for future use.

Dibrugarh University BCA Course Details

The Bachelor of Computer Application programme is for a duration of 3 years which is divided into 6 semesters. 

The coursework includes theory, practicals and tutorials. The courses offered in the programme include Core Courses, Elective Courses, and Ability Enhancement Courses (AECC). In the sixth semester, students will be given an option between Dissertation or Project work.

In the semester examinations students’ knowledge will be tested in both theory and practicals and the marks are given according to the credits decided of the particular paper.
