You can access the Application Form in the following two modes:

• Online: You can get it via the online application portal on the website
• Postal/In Person: You can get a paper application form posted to you by the University, or obtain it yourself

For Online Application:

You should log on to the Institute’s website.

You should then click on the link for online application, and you will be guided step-by-step on how to fill in the form.

You must have an email id to log-in. You should then fill the Form with the required personal and educational details.

You should then submit the Application Form. Once completed, you will be able to view the filled-in application form in PDF format and save it on your computer.

You should take a print out of the Application Form.

For Paper Application (By Hand):

You must send a written request comprising of a Requisition Letter indicating the Programme you would like to apply for and a Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order of Rs. 100 drawn in favour of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, payable at SBI, Prasanthi Nilayam/Puttaparthi. You must mention your name and complete postal address at the back of the Demand Draft.

You should then fill the Application Form with the required personal and education details. You must also affix a recent passport size photograph.

For both the Modes of Submission:-

Enclosures: You should attach the following documents with your Application form:

• Two additional passport size photographs (with name and Application number on the reverse of the photograph)
• Attested copies of Class 10^th and 12^th Certificates
• Self-attested copies of Class 12^th marksheet
• Self-attested copies of Degree Certificate and marksheet

You should then staple the filled application form with all supporting materials. Then, seal them in an A4-sized envelope.

If you have chosen to pay online, you should print and attach a copy of the electronic receipt. Otherwise, send an Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.100/- per application. The Bank draft should be drawn in favour of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, payable at SBI, Prasanthi Nilayam/Puttaparthi.

You must then send the duly signed Application Form along with the required documents to the following address:-

Aspirants seeking admission to 2-year Full-time M.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute

Academic Requirement:

• The candidate must have either passed or appeared for final exams of one of the following: a) M.Sc. Physics, or b) B.E. / B.Tech. with a background in Optics and Electromagnetic Theory.
• Master’s degree: 60% or more (Aggregate incl. English) or CGPA aggregate of 6 or more (10-point scale).
• Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in B.E. or B.Tech. (with a background in Optics and Electromagnetic Theory) or a Master’s Degree in Physics are eligible to apply

 Age:

• preferably below 28 years as of 31st May in the year of admission.
