Central University of Andhra Pradesh (CUAP) is a central university and was established in the year 2018. It is situated in the district headquarters town of Ananthapuramu in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. The university is currently operating from its transit campus is JNTU and the permanent campus is being constructed of over 491.30 acres of land in Janthaluru village, Anantapur district. The academic session 2024-25 will start at the new university campus only.
The university offers a total of 31 UG, PG as well as PhD courses to the interested candidates. For admission to UG and PG courses, the university accepts CUET scores. After qualifying in the entrance exam, candidates have to appear in the university-led counselling process to get admission to their chosen courses.
The on-campus placement opportunities are also offered to the candidates in the final year of their degree. Some major recruiters like ETV, Ramoji Fil City, TCS, Asian Paints and more participate in the CUAP placement drives. The campus comprises of all the major facilities such as library, laboratories, IT labioratoies, spacious classrooms, experienced faculty members and more.

The Central University of Andhra Pradesh offers admission to the UG & PG courses on the basis of performance in CUET (Common University Entrance Test). The admission process for the university started immediately after the release of CUET results by NTA. The qualified candidates have to apply for their chosen course at the university. The university shortlists the candidates on the basis of their CUET scores.

There is a dedicated placement cell at CUAP that has recently organized a workshop on the topic of “Campus to Corporate: Life Skills Colloquium.” The cell works throughout the year to prepare the students to get attractive placement opportunities after the completion of their education.
