Sreyas has designed its academic experience to be challenging as much as rewarding. The curriculum is holistic, as it covers not only the theoretical grounding of the subject but also the practical implementations that form the base of various applications. Though most students will likely find it coherent and manage, others are to face some struggle, especially when it comes to core subjects like math and programming. No student will pass through without experiencing problems, and sometimes failing exams, especially if they fall behind the pace of coursework.
Some of the positives of the course include a focus on doing hands-on projects and internships, which are opportunities to give an actual experience. Criticisms towards the course include the fact that a couple of theoretical subjects require very little alignment with the needs of industries, so they become less practical in their application. The course is composed of two major tests during each semester along with regular tests and assignments; hence, the candidate needs to be progressively interfaced with the syllabus.
The students will have four to five classes a day; thus, the period of time could range from 9 AM to 4 PM.
There is a difference in the teaching methodology of the faculty, although most of them who are in there use an interactive learning approach that can ensure discussions and practical application. Other professors use project-based learning or mostly lectures with concepts reinforced through projects.
He has imposed the attendance requirement to be at least 75% for all courses. On failing to meet the eligibility criterion for the programme, loss of marks would be imposed in the internal assessment or the candidates might even be debarred from the final examination.
