- Sustainable development and environmental management are two key challenges facing the Global South. As part of our Environment and Development MSc degree, students will be provided with high-quality interdisciplinary training to help them understand the many perspectives of different actors operating in the Global South.
- Students will investigate the debates and challenges associated with international development that is environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable and contribute towards achieving solutions that support this topical, fast-growing field.
- students will gain the knowledge, skills, and practical experience that national and international employers require to reconcile distinct objectives, such as the need for sustainable economic development and environmental conservation.
- Students will gain an advanced understanding of the core knowledge and skills in both sustainability and development-related themes such as environmental governance, development studies, environmental social science research methods, and sustainable development.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a bachelor's degree with a 2:1 (Hons) in social sciences such as (but not limited to) international development, geography, politics, sociology, environmental management, sustainability, environmental science, or in a related subject.
- Students with a 2.2 will be considered on a case-by-case basis where applicants can demonstrate relevant work experience or aptitude in a relevant specialist field.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students must have completed 3-4 year’s bachelor’s degree with 60%.

- Letter of Recommendation - This shows who recommended the student to pursue the degree.
- Personal Statement - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying in a minimum of 250 words.
- English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.

In terms of facilities, we got access to libraries, computers. We could borrow books and papers free of cost.
Fees
For me tuition fee was £ 11000 because i am EU/home student. I have lived here for 10 years so they count me as home student. If i were international student, it would have been about £ 24000-25000 i think.
