I applied for part time job which is published on University union. But I wasnt successful. There are lot of options where I could apply for jobs within the university, which would be 8-9 hours per week. I could study as well as work.

There will be career fairs happening year around. After covid, it is happening virtually. You can talk to company representatives and HRs to know more about their programmes.

University of Leeds is a Russell Group university, which is top 10 in the UK for law. It is also located in one of the best students, cities in the world. It is also located in one of the best cities in the world. And this course is taught by expert lecturers and academics who have had years of experience in their field. As I was planning to study at a UK university, I submitted my application through UCAS.

If you do not have any previous work experience, you can start applying for graduate roles and internships with the help of career centre. Career centre will help you in evaluating your CV, Cover letter, interviews and the whole application process. University career fairs are conducted every year in each semester where you can directly meet the company representatives to talk about the role you can apply for or what job role suits you profile.

Not only being one of the top 100 universities in the world, University of Leeds is known for its research work. The programme I chose which is Electrical and Renewable Energy System, I could not find the syllabus that includes both generation, distribution and renewable in any other UK universities.

Pretty good in the UK. Median salary of £20000 per annum. Most of the career days are held on campus with companies like red bull, mercedes BMW. Visa sponsorship is hard to get though. More preferance for British nationals.

University of Leeds was the top of my list when applying for university. It came under 100 in top world universities. When I cleared all the required criterias, I thought no further.

The careers center trains the students with the interview processes, in fact in the business school we are also given lectures in the first year about how the interview process would be like, and what employers look for in a CV and candidate. They have access to Vmock, which is a software that checks the CV and gives feedback too! There is also a module called 'Study to Work' which involves employers from different companies giving talks to students about their company as well as give students a deeper understanding of being a better suitable candidate. On average, the university has had many students placed into big companies and some who also continue to pursue a master's degree in other reputed universities around the world. They also have a website that allows us to connect with alumni, thereby providing us a good alumni network. They also have a mentoring scheme, wherein students can get a mentor and get trained under them.

Internship:

Due to Covid-19, I was able to have 2 online internship experiences (3 days each) organized by Bright Network, which collaborated with other companies such as PwC and Amazon.
