Remarks :

To join in any NIT you should of course qualify for the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) which is a competitive exam that is considered one of the toughest examinations in India. To qualify for any course in the general category your rank should be less than 80,000 for admission in the lowest branch in VNIT NAGPUR.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I love electric circuits and electronic devices. The faculty-student ratio is nearly 1:40 which is a great ratio I guess. The professors are highly qualified and they have a lot of experience and a variety of teaching methods. Midsems happen every 2 months and semester exams after 4-5 months from the start of the semester. It's quite difficult to score well but it's not hard to pass but the papers are lengthy.

Internships Opportunities :

The top recruiters during VNIT Nagpur placements 2023 included Accenture, EY, and American Express. You should do a wide variety of projects and you should design the project out of the box be consistent in the clubs related to the placements and work hard.

Placement Experience :

From the start of the 5th semester, students get a chance for an internship in a reputed company and based on your performance they give you placement opportunities. There are around 120 companies visited the campus last year and a total of 500 offers were made. 90% of students get places every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is quite similar to any other NIT. The academic fee is around 60,000 per sem and by fee remission, you get the academic fee back after applying at the academic section and talking about campus jobs they give a lot of opportunities via internships.

Campus Life :

There is a wide variety of cultural, tech, and induction fest conducted from time to time every year. In the month of April, we have the annual tech fest AXIS which is considered the biggest tech fest in Nagpur. And we have a general fest throughout the year. You can find your course books in the library by library card. We conduct Interit nit fest every year at least for one post.

From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements.
