Merit Scholarships for UG Students:
- Candidates with AIR up to 1000 in JEE Advanced will receive a full fee wavier for the first year. For maintaining the scholarship for the following year, it is mandatory to achieve a minimum C.G.P.A of 9.0 for each year, this merit based scholarship is only available for Top 5 students who meet the requirements for this criteria.
- Students who are securing a CGPA of 9.0 or higher in any semester will be eligible for Semester Fee Waivers Scholarship program, in this scheme they will receive a 50% tuition fee waiver for the next semester. This scholarship program is available to 10% of candidates in each program.
Fellowships Scholarship for PhD Students:
- For the initial fellowship, individuals with a PG Degree in Basic Science with NET or equivalent, a Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET or equivalent, or a PG Degree in Professional Course will be granted a monthly fellowship of INR 31,000.
- Following two years of research experience, and subject to performance evaluation, the fellowship may be raised to INR 35,000 per month.
- Scholars are required to provide academic assistance by conducting tutorials, practicals, or other related academic activities for a maximum of 6 hours per week.
- Scholars are responsible for covering expenses related to boarding, lodging, and medical facilities in accordance with IIST rules.
