Remarks :

I had given MHT-CET as well as JEE mains and scores of 91.80 and 81.87 percentile respectively. I got the admission by cap round of MHT-CET. The application form, application fees and application dates can be found at the time of confirmation of admission. I took the benefit of the GEN-EWS scheme and got my 50 percent fees back. The admission process was a little crowdy and busy. It can be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I had an interest in Computer Engineering. The faculty-to-student ratio is good. There are 10 divisions each having 69 students and every two classes have different faculty members. Most of the faculty have 5+ years and most of them have a good teaching techniques. Exams have not happened yet.

Class Size : 69Course Fees : INR 62000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

College is providing some good internship opportunities from some of the well-known companies like Cognizant, etc. As it was told many students from different departments have availed the internship opportunities and also got placed with good packages in those companies(some of the students).

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for campus placements for the Fourth year. The highest package as per my knowledge is 1.2 Cr as they told us. Companies such as Cognizant, IBM, etc. visit the college. The average package is 6 lpa. I want to go for college placements and proceed with my career in software development.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As I have there is no fee hike and the cost to study is also minimal. Scholarships have not been announced yet and it's happening in September end. College does provide financial assistance. College has a job on campus with a stipend but I have not opted for it.

Campus Life :

College has numerous clubs like biodiversity clubs, hackathon clubs, etc. for the students of every department.It also had a freshers party for the first year students. College has everything necessary books and journals for the students in library but as we don't have an ID card we don't have full access to the college . Classrooms have fans, a projector, a blackboard and decent benches. College campus has basketball and badminton court as per my knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Is DY Patil Pimpri worth it?

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies that visited here and many offers made the companies Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Adobe, Infosys, all the stop companies are always coming here to provide good packages for the students and the highest package was around 70 lacs for a mechanical student and average packages around 7 to 8 lakh, currently 90% of the students are getting a place and my plans of getting the degrees to go for masters.
