Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, established in 1998, is a private institute affiliated to SPPU, Pune and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. DYPIT is the oldest campus of Dr. D.Y. Patil Group of Institutions. The institute offers BE program at the UG level, MBA and ME at the PG level and PhD program at the doctoral level.
