Remarks :

U have to get a good rank in Jee adv and of course, u have to crack Jee Mains. Jee mains exam is held by NTA u can check on the NTA website. For jee adv every year is conducted by a different iit the website is jeeadv.ac.in I am from a lower middle-class family so I applied for the category (conditions: annual family income less than 8 lakhs). I think there are no issues in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I got an average rank in JEE adv something around 7k so I dreamt of studying in the top 8 iits I have little interest in the course so I chose it. Around 1:15. Faculty are good they have verified honourary phds. Teaching methods are either by slides or boards. The papers are relatively tougher than other universities and there are sudden quizzes to students have to manage their studies with other activities.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Amazon Google Microsoft goldmansacs Infosys Govt companies like nmdc etc and so many big companies worldwide. And for chemical engineering, the companies are Bharath Petroleum Indian Petrol pharma industry, etc.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th sem, they are eligible for campus placements. Many big companies like Google Microsoft Goldman Sachs etc made offers. In my branch, the highest offer was 90 lpa. And the average was 22 lpa. 98% of students get placed every year. I want to pursue my master's or a good salaried job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As iitg is a govt funded institution the fees are not so high and I availed the meb(most economical backward) so my fee is 50000 per semester. I am from the general category with web application so here u can avail mcm scholarship 1000 a month and 8 months per year.

Campus Life :

There is a technical fest called Techniche which is held in September. The annual fest is called Alcheringa and is held around April. There is a very big library available and there are endless amounts of study resources there The amenities in the classrooms are good. Here there are so many sports events conducted by various clubs and they are dedicated to the inter iit sports meet. There are also various clubs like expression club etc.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

The College life at NIT SILCHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.

There are too many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements get placed with a good package.
