Remarks :

First, we have to clear JEE Mains and then we become eligible to write JEE Advance Official websites of the correspondinig Institutes websites There are so many reservation benifits both in admission and fee waivers if income is below 1 lakh there is a complete waiver of tution fees and we have to pay only tution fees. The admission process is perfect but they are facing some difficulties while verifying particular state certificates like income certificates and state board certificates

Course Curriculum Overview :

Iam interested in joining IIT for my rank I was only eligible to get a mechanical course only but now I am happy with my course if you want to change your course there is an option for branch changing also so no problem with which branch you joined There is a healthy ratio of students and professors alike for every 100 students there are 2 tutors and 2 professors Faculty are highly qualified most of them are researchers and almost all of them are p.h.d There are some regular exams called quizzes and mid-sem for sem every exam has its respective credits and weight in CGPA

Class Size : 200Course Fees : INR 104000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Major recruiters include Larsen & Turbo Ltd, Schlumber, tata, Microsoft, Piramel, GAIL, etc. In IIT Guwahati internships placements 2023 offers highest stipend offered during BTech Civil Engineering internships placements 2023 was INR 1.6 LPA .coming to the projects NEWGEN IEDC project proposal TITLED low cost and like seismic strengthening of open ground storey building using RC shear wall in 2020 and smart hybrid fiber reinforced polymer composite strengthening system for civil infrastructure

Placement Experience :

After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements Microsoft, jp morgan, bajaj, amazon, google, TVS,Toubro Ltd etc The companies offered nearly more than 900+offers The highest international package is 2.4 crores and the highest domestic package is around 1.5 crores The average package is around 26.27 lakhs, and many profiles in its companies and other software companies profiles like assistant managers and developers are offered Around 95% of students are getting placements Iam planning to prepare for civils after getting my degree

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our institute IIT Guwahati has the lowest cost to study and the fee hike policy is also there for economically weaker sections At present iam in my first year so I don't get any campus placements and stipend but there are a lot of opportunities to get a stipend and some scholarships, especially for girls if you are a female then you will get more scholarships

Campus Life :

The annual fest is not yet celebrated but technical fest is happens it is north India's biggest technical fest called technique it celebrated its 25th anniversary recently Every book needed for course purposes is available in the central library and there is a hostel library for every hostel Classes are very clean and washrooms are also hygiene Our campus supports students who are interested in support and cultural activities Here almost all clubs are run by the seniors of the institute

Hostel Facilities :

Facilities like lan connection and wifi connection are available in the room Mess quality is very good especially at breakfast and dinner time and is suitable for every one but in launch some times mess is not up to the mark But overall the mess is good my rating is 3.5 out of 5 and food is also nutritious Registration process for hostel is not at all difficulty after the online admission we are alloted a hostel we are eligible to choose our rooms according to our comfort and the hostel is also affordable Iam living in the alloted hostel only

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

The College life at NIT SILCHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.
