Remarks :

IIT Mains and JEE Advanced we have to apply for it. The online website of josaa. Reservation is given EWS, OBC, SC, and ST, there is a free concession and extra seats in the category. No, the admission process is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

For getting a good salary and the development of my attitude. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:15. They are highly qualified in their respective fields. And teaching is good. They are moderate and 1 exam for a month of one subject.

Class Size : 114Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience :

From the sixth semester of the undergraduate course, students are eligible for campus placements, and multi-national companies like Google, also visit our campus for placements and after my degree, I am planning to abroad.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee is 200000. I don't know about the policy but the cost of the study is about 8lpa. It is okay according to the learning they give. I don't get any scholarship and I got an EWS fee concession and there is no stipend given. Intern starts from the 3rd semester.

Campus Life :

Annual fest: alcheringa (the biggest north-east india cultural festival). Technical fest: Techniche and udgam (famous). Sports are everything on the campus. Classrooms are provided with ac and charging points.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are somewhat older and new hostels are also available. The room's qualities are good. Toilets are a common type and private toilets for hostels are also provided and mess food is average and at the mess, the water is provided.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

THE UNTOLD STORY OF NIT SILCHAR

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

The College life at NIT SILCHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.

From the 6th sem onwards students are eligible for campus. As per the guidelines of the training and placement cell, the name of the company visited can't be disclosed. There are too many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements get placed with a good package.

Placement Experience:

The placement season in the college is a very important one. Even before that, students get to do internships from 2nd year of BTech, providing them exposure to all kinds of companies and job sectors. All kinds of companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Uber make their way out here in search of bright minds capable of developing the companies further. They even provide the students with Pre Placement Offers, if their internship performance is commendable. The highest package goes upto above 2 crore INR per year, with average packages of above 25 lakhs INR per year. Above 85% of the students get placed in the end, with the others interested in higher studies. Nobody is left idle. My plans after BTech are to pursue a well paying job with a good working atmosphere.

Placement Experience:

In forth semester students become eligible for campus placements Major recruiters included Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Schlumberger, Piramal, TVS R&D, and GAIL, Indian companies like Reliance, Bajaj, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank, also recruited at IIT Guwahati. The highest domestic package offered was INR 1.2 crore per annum, and the highest international package was INR 72 LPA.
