Remarks :

I wrote the exam of JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. The application form for Jee Mains is available on the website of NTA. We need to clear the cut-off for mains which is nearly 90 percentile for general candidates. after you've cleared the exam of mains, you are eligible to take JEE Advanced. Jee Advanced has its own website from where we register for the exam. If we get a good rank in mains, we can take admission in NITs and if we score well in Jee advanced, we get a seat in the IITs. Application fees for mains were around 600 rupees and for advanced it was 2800 rupees.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose to take up a B.Tech degree from the Department of Civil Engineering. The course is not very difficult but rather it's fun. We don't have a lot to study but whatever we study, we need to focus on that properly. Faculty members are kind and really helpful. As IITians, we start to study just a week before exams and that time is enough if we study diligently. The paper is not very difficult if you're prepared enough.

Class Size : 109Course Fees : INR 140000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are not comparatively higher than NITs but lower than the private colleges. The fees for a B.Tech degree in IIT Kharagpur would be around 12-13 lacks. Students who need financial help, get it from banks such as loans and if students are under reservation then they do get a fee waiver.

Campus Life :

Life on campus is really different. It can be happening but it can be really dreadful at times. You need to cope with everything and move forward. The society culture is good in that you get to interact with your seniors and get to learn a lot.

The Good college and very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good on the campus GKCIET especially trains and encourages the students to sit for internships and placements. A student is eligible to sit for the internships at the beginning of the third and placements from the beginning of the third and placements from beginning of the final year .. a student can manage to get a PPO after completing the internship in the 3 rd which is also encouraged by the student. The other criteria regarding placements and intership are quite well-defined in the GKCIET

This college offers excellent education with a minimal fees

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the profile came to know that the professor of this college is very good for the mechanical branch the faculty and student ratio is good for the study of the student qualification of the faculty and review teacher is like that they are good in English and they no proper way of teaching the timing of the term of the exam is first exam is midterm in which the question is of 25 marks and we have to give at least 20 marks answer it is conducted after 3 months of the beginning of the course and after the midterm exam there is another in term exam.
