Remarks :
I am Dhiraj Mandloi a student of Ramjas College North Campus Delhi University. Currently, I pursuing my bachelor's in BA Political Science Honours from the college. I joined the college from the 2023-24.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose BA Political Science Honours as a course as I want to prepare for the civil services exam. The course would provide me with a base for all the competitive exams. The faculty at Ramjas is extremely equipped in terms of knowledge and teaching skills. Most of the teachers are PHD holders and Professors.
Internships Opportunities :
Many internship opportunities are offered in our college. Companies from around the country like Reliance Industries and other companies have provided internship opportunities. Even small start-ups are also coming into the college.
Placement Experience :
The College offers placements after the completion of a UG degree. The average package is around 6 Lakhs per annum and the maximum package upto 30 Lakhs I would not go for any placement rather I would try to prepare for the Civil Services after getting my Undergraduate degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college fees for my course are roughly around 15000, which is decent as compared to other colleges. But there have been in fees of course as compared to before. The hostel fees have also gone up, making it difficult for students from poor backgrounds to apply for a hostel.
Campus Life :
Mosaic is the annual fest of Ramjas College. Although it has not been conducted for the last three years after the outbreak of the COVID pandemic. The social life at Ramjas is pretty. We get to interact with people from different cultures and even different nationalities. I also have some of my friends from Thailand.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility provided at Ramjas College is pretty good. The hostel works on a no profit no loss structure. Four meals are provided in a day which are of good quality. Registration for the hostel is done through online mode. Over the years the price of a hostel has gone up, making it difficult for students to apply for it.
