Remarks :
You must have cleared your Jee Mains. You must have been born after 1993 and 5 years of relaxation for reserved categories. You may appear twice Jee Advanced in 2 consecutive years with 12th or after 12th. You can find the application form's respective dates on the JEE Advance official site. I want to see improvement in NTA Examinations who held Jee Main. They make many major mistakes while conducting exams. On the other side, Jee advanced conducted the exam in very good manners. Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because, In my coaching tenure, I found the electrical portion very interesting. I was feeling it i solved every damn question of electrodynamics. And in jee advanced i thrilled it. So that's why I am genuinely interested in electrical. And my faculty members are also Damn Talented. They know every situations related to electricity. Their teaching style is just awesome. How they teach us in lab step by step. Gender ratio in our class is little bit less its about 1:3. But although electrical is tough so you have to stay studious throughout the course.
Internships Opportunities :
You can get the opportunity of an internship by approaching companies through their LinkedIn pages and their site. They give you work experience with a decent stipend amount. In our college, many students get internships abroad with a huge amount of stipend.
Placement Experience :
Our college academic gives you time for an internship at the end of 2nd year. You can sit for placement in the 6th semester by CDC. If you cracked CDC You will be placed. More than 300 plus companies come to our college for placement ie. Microsoft, google intel, Facbook, twitter, zomato, jio, tcs And so on. In my branch, almost 90-95% of students get placed. And 95-100% got the internship. My plan after graduation is to work something good for my country.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our fee is approx 152000 rupees per semester. But you can get a fee waiver according to your income certificate. There is also a fee waiver for reserved categories. Like I am in the st category so 1 lakh automatically decreases within my total fees. And if your annual income is less than 1 lakh your fees will reduced by 1 lakh
Campus Life :
In our college IIT KHARAGPUR every week there are a lot of events like society events and then department events. But most two most famous events are India's largest tech fest khstij organized at the end of January month every year. And India's largest event culture fest is the spring fest organized at the end of January month every year. And Asia's largest library is in our College. It has more than 2 lakh books. And every major sport you can explore at IIT Kharagpur like cricket, football, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, basketball and so on.
Hostel Facilities :
There is different facilities mamong different halls. In my hall all room are double sharing. They gave us two study table, two almirah, two bed and essential things. In almost hall there is 4 time meal. Which include various type of food. Both veg and non veg provide. And quality of food is enough good.
