Remarks :
There is a specific cut-off rank that you need to achieve in JEE Adv to get admission here. Conducting IIT releases the application form. To give JEE Advanced. you first need to qualify for JEE Mains. In which almost 2 lakh students qualify.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is good And it offers great placement opportunities as it is a booming field. The faculty members are about 400 for 7000 students and all of them are well qualified as all of them have completed their PhDs.
Placement Experience :
The students recieve Pre placement offers in their third year and the campus placements begin in the fourth year. Almost all the students get placed and those who don't are the students applying for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fee structure is like 100,000 for a semester for the course and including the hostel and mess fees etc. it goes to 1.3 lakhs. Economically backwards students are given fee waivers. SC/ST don't have to pay the course fees
Campus Life :
The Techniche is conducted in the month of September and the cultural festival is known as Alcheringa. There are all sorts of books available in the library and the library is massive. Almost all sports fields and courts are available on campus and are available for the students.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a study table, bed,tubelight, fan, chair and a cupboard provided in the rooms. the room also has a LAN connection. The registration process is not too lenghty and the meal quality is good in the mess.
