Remarks :
The admission to Bachelor of Design at Delhi Technological University is through the UCEED exam. The eligibility for UCEED is you need to be either in class 12 or just dropped after class 12, you also do not necessarily need to be from a PCM background to take the UCEED exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose to study design because I have always been fascinated with art, architecture, literature and of course the look and feel of everything around me- aka-design. The student-teacher ratio is fine, however, if you want to speak personally to a professor you'll need to look for them in the department.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees at DTU are really high and quite unreasonable because there is not much that you can teach in Design. There is an increment of 10k in fees every year. Unlike NIDs and NIFTs which have state-of-the-art facilities, DTU does not have much to offer you for this hefty sum of money that you pay.
Campus Life :
DTU undoubtedly has the best college life experience. The clubs, fests and activities pour life into the monotonous studies. The campus is always buzzing with the social activities taking place. The vibrant campus atmosphere will make sure that you enjoy every moment of your studies.
Hostel Facilities :
DTU has a lot of hostels but it is still not sufficient to meet the needs of every student. The hostels are only given to students taking admission under the outside Delhi quota. The fee is also quite a lot considering this is a public university. If you are a Delhi student, forget about getting a hostel.
