Creativity palace

Remarks :

Eligibility of my course (Bachelor in fashion design) should be 12th pass or coursework in art, design or related fields. Application forms can be filled out from the official site of the JD Institute of Fashion Technology. Application dates are open from February- march every year. The admission process of this college is very simple and quick. You just have to fill out the online form and you will get a call from the institute which will provide you with all the further addmission procedures and details.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course for various reasons such as a passion for clothing, a love for creativity and aesthetics, the desire to express myself through design or an interest in fashion design. The faculty is very helpful and polite with every student and motivates them in the right direction. All are qualified teachers and have professional experience. Exams were at the end of every semester i.e. 6 months and its a little difficult to pass but if you have great knowledge you can pass them without any difficulty.

Placement Experience :

From semester 5, the student becomes eligible for campus placements and many companies visit the campus like Mandira wirk, H&M, calvin Klein, pero, Asian paints and many more. 60% of the students get placements from the college. And my plan after the degree is to master in fashion design

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for my course is 1.8 lakhs and it is very expensive to study in any of the fashion colleges because it includes all the expenses of stationaries and all the clothing materials. Scholarships are not provided but they offer you the job after the completion of the course.

Campus Life :

It provides a vibrant environment where students can engage in social groups and activities related to fashion and beyond. It includes fashion shows, design and sewing competitions, textile workshops, student magazines and blogs, networking events and cultural clubs. And dont expect anything else other than fashion-related activities like sports or dance or singing sort of something. The infrastructure of the college is not very great but gives you exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to study design because I have always been fascinated with art, architecture, literature and of course the look and feel of everything around me- aka-design. The student-teacher ratio is fine, however, if you want to speak personally to a professor you'll need to look for them in the department.
