Remarks :
Admission at DTU is done by JEE MAINS. We need to write jee mains examination and apply for JAC DELHI COUNSELLING. There we need to fill up the choices and appear for counselling rounds. The counselling begins just after jee advanced examination
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am deeply interested in biotechnology. This is a branch which is least discovered In India and I want this to rise high as it's going on in the US and UK The faculty members and labs of the biotech department are very good at DTU and there is a special focus on core knowledge as well. Also, the students going for higher education from every biotech are many.
Internships Opportunities :
At DTU internships start at the end of the second year. Many companies visit for various kinds of internships and the pre-final year students generally go for internships in large numbers. Also, many companies offer PPO too. The companies consist of Google, microsoft, Blackrock etc.
Placement Experience :
Placements at DTU is at par with top IITs Here we have great placement ratios, especially in the upper branches Also, the branches like biotexh and chemical have good placements of 35lpa The highest package last year of the CSE department went up to 1.90 Cr which was offered by Amazon. The average package for CSE is 24lpa. Students also go for higher education from foreign universities or IITs. More than 800 companies visit the college every year and the placement scenario is too good
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of Dtu is more or less equal to IITs. We need to pay the whole fee at the beginning of the semester and there are also easy instalment options for financially poor students. Scholarships at Dtu are of many types which include reservation scholarships, income-based scholarships and scholarships provided by the Delhi government. Every year notice gets released and you need to fill up the form and appear for an interview where you are asked a few questions.
Campus Life :
Social life at DTU is the best part of the college. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful, especially the seniors. There are 100+ clubs and societies with amazing teams and events. College fests are also too good with great crowds and stuff The environment here at DTU is so good and chill which enables us to enjoy our engineering life with extreme happiness
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility here at dtu is decent There are 6 boys and 5 girls hostel which includes 2 separate hostels for first-year students and rest are for all 2 hostels one from each are AC hostels and every hostel has its own mess facility Students can also opt for a PG facility outside the campus which is a good option for many Hostels include a sports gym and mess facility as well
