Remarks :

I got admission to IIT(ISM) DHANBAD after clearing the JEE Advanced entrance exam with rank 7546. Its admission form is available on JEE Advance's official website. The reservation quota should be minimized. These students got admitted through reservation then inside campus they feel lagged and it is obvious.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Electrical Engineering is one of the circuital branches which is open for all company. Faculties are quite good here however the course is a little bit difficult. It's really hard to score a good sgpa here as there is very little time given for a semester. A semester is just 4 months which we find a bit rushed up.

Class Size : 135Course Fees : INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Google, Sprinkler, and Salesforce visited on day 0 at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. Internship opportunities on day 0 and day 1 are not that good. It must increase. Only 200 students out of 1100 get internships at day 0 and day 1 which is not that much good.

Placement Experience :

Placements are quite good but the quality is decreasing year by year. Google, sprinkler, salesforce, etc. Visited our campus on day 0 which is quite amazing. The highest package is offered by GOOGLE which is 56 lakh inr and the average package of IIT(ISM) DHANBAD is 8 lakh inr.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee is 250000. Students having a family income of less than 500000 inr gets a 66% discount on tuition fee while students having a family income of less than 100000 gets a 100% discount on tuition fee. Job opportunities in ISM are decreasing year by year.

Campus Life :

Life at IIT is really hectic and rushed. Concetto is the tech fest of IIT(ISM) DHANBAD while srijan is the annual cultural fest of IIT(ISM) DHANBAD. ISM library is the 2nd largest library in Asia. Sports facilities are quite good at ISM. MAILER-DAEMON is the student media body of IIT ISM DHANBAD.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR Review

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Placement percentage was 98.8% and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering was 100%. The average package of our college is 17.2 LPA and 27.32 LPA for CSE. The highest package was 83LPA. I will try to get placed in one of the best companies coming into our college.

Students are eligible for placement from the beginning of the 6th semester. The companies like Tata Atlassian, Infosys, Wipro, and Coal India visited our college, the placement last year was 98%. The percentage of students getting placement is very high here.

INTO THE MINES OF THE COLLEGE - IIT DHANBAD (INDIAN SCHOOL OF MINES)

Placement Experience:

it is from the beginning of the 3rd year we are eligible to get an internship and from the mid of the 4th year are eligible to sit for placements google amazon microsoft all of these come but give around 20 lpa on average and as for the highest packages they offer are around 45 lpa and avg is around 20lpa 70 per cent approx get a placement preferably the highest package our college has witnessed in past decade

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose computer science engineering because I always had an interest in it. The faculty-student ratio is quite good here. It is approximately 1:14. All the teachers here are PhD graduates and the teaching method is quite good too.

The IIT ISM story...

Course Curriculum Overview:

Electrical engineering being a circuital branch has a wide range of possibilities ahead. It can also be considered as evergreen branch whose demand is atleast not going to end soon. Faculty here are PhD professionals but some might not like the teaching methodologies as it is quite different from the regular schooling/coaching methodologies. Term exams are strictly followed and on basis of regular intervals to check learning process. It is pretty easy to pass the exams if someone only pays attention in class or refer to notes by professors.

The faculty are here so much more friendly. Some of them try to act like a professor but they are not. Some of the professors are very good and even they take the time to solve our doubts in their cabin. They support students in every aspect. They are good in every aspect. We have two teachers for physics and one for CSE.
