Remarks :

You can take admission through JEE mains, for computer science engineering you need an AIR of less than 20000. I myself scored 98.90 percentile in jee mains. I did not have any reservations. You can find the application form application fees and application dates through the josaa counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose computer science engineering because I always had an interest in it. The faculty-student ratio is quite good here. It is approximately 1:14. All the teachers here are PhD graduates and the teaching method is quite good too.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees is around 1,50,000 per semester which is quite high as it is a private college, but the college offers gp Birla scholarship based purely on merit. It offers the top 100 students as per cgpa a full tuition fee scholarship.

Campus Life :

The name of the annual fest is Pantheon and the name of the tech fest is Hackatjon and it is conducted in October. BIT Mesra has a very wide range of books in the library. The classrooms are top notch with centralized AC good seats projector and speakers.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR Review

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Placement percentage was 98.8% and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering was 100%. The average package of our college is 17.2 LPA and 27.32 LPA for CSE. The highest package was 83LPA. I will try to get placed in one of the best companies coming into our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Electrical engineering being a circuital branch has a wide range of possibilities ahead. It can also be considered as evergreen branch whose demand is atleast not going to end soon. Faculty here are PhD professionals but some might not like the teaching methodologies as it is quite different from the regular schooling/coaching methodologies. Term exams are strictly followed and on basis of regular intervals to check learning process. It is pretty easy to pass the exams if someone only pays attention in class or refer to notes by professors.

The faculty are here so much more friendly. Some of them try to act like a professor but they are not. Some of the professors are very good and even they take the time to solve our doubts in their cabin. They support students in every aspect. They are good in every aspect.
