Remarks :

I entered ISM Dhanbad by clearing the JEE Advanced exam. I am a computer science student. For computer science closing rank for general females was 7657 and for general girls was around 5500. One can give advance only after they clear jee mains. The application form is available on the official website of Jee Advance.

Course Curriculum Overview :

computer science is open to all companies and it is the best branch in all colleges. The faculties are quite good some of the subjects like dsa are very interesting while some subjects like co are quite difficult and boring. It's difficult to score cgpa greater than 9. One semester lasts for about 4 months which we find a little rushed up.

Class Size : 140Course Fees : INR 250000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee is 25000. students having a family income of less than 5 lakhs get a tuition fee waiver of 66% discount while people having a family income of less than 1 lakh get a 100% waiver. the name of the scholarship is mcm(merit cum scholarship). this fee includes tuition fees as well but the mess fee is not included in it which is 18000 per semester.

Campus Life :

life is campus is enjoyable as well as hectic. we can enjoy ourselves with our friends any time we want as well and we have to manage academics as well as things such as coding, ml, and web development. Tech Fest in Ism is Conceto, srijan is an annual cultural fest, and Khana is a mining fest in Ism. ism has Asia's 2nd largest library. sports facilities are good. mailor daemon is a student-run media body of ISM.

Hostel Facilities :

My hostel has doubly accommodated rooms with one room having 2 chairs and 2 tables 1 cupboard for first years while 2 cupboards from 2nd year onward. mess food does not taste good and is unhygienic. fruits and healthy things are not provided in a mess.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR Review

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Placement percentage was 98.8% and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering was 100%. Placement Experience:

it is from the beginning of the 3rd year we are eligible to get an internship and from the mid of the 4th year are eligible to sit for placements google amazon microsoft all of these come but give around 20 lpa on average and as for the highest packages they offer are around 45 lpa and avg is around 20lpa 70 per cent approx get a placement preferably the highest package our college has witnessed in past decade

I chose computer science engineering because I always had an interest in it. The faculty-student ratio is quite good here. It is approximately 1:14. All the teachers here are PhD graduates and the teaching method is quite good too.

The IIT ISM story...

Course Curriculum Overview:

Electrical engineering being a circuital branch has a wide range of possibilities ahead. It can also be considered as evergreen branch whose demand is atleast not going to end soon. Faculty here are PhD professionals but some might not like the teaching methodologies as it is quite different from the regular schooling/coaching methodologies. Term exams are strictly followed and on basis of regular intervals to check learning process. It is pretty easy to pass the exams if someone only pays attention in class or refer to notes by professors.

The faculty are here so much more friendly. Some of them try to act like a professor but they are not.
